Me, I just want THE WIZARD tv show with David Rappaport.

Yes, the one about BMX'ers and Cru Jones and Helltrack.

You wanna fight about it?

Also:

NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER
AIRBORNE
HOMICIDE (Mamet)

I second the RUBIN & ED need.
The wicker people need their el weirdo king.

...and are you telling me there's still no IRON EAGLE widescreen release?
Shameful.

I've been aware of this film but only now did I realize it was a Peter Weir. Definitely worth a Netflix bump.

The show about the inventor who is a goblin? My grade-school self thought that show was fantastic.

I know there is a Region 2 TIMEBOMB. It is pretty pricey around these parts so I'd just assume see a solid Region 1 release that I could snag for $10-$15.

I taped it off cable about a year ago so it is nice to know that when I want to see Biehn take on Billy Blanks I have the option.
If we're including TV shows, then my only answer is Spaced.

Seriously, how has this not gotten a US release, given that people know and like Hot Fuzz/Shaun of the Dead?
Musical rights issues. It's coming, sayeth Wright. Also, limited American exposure.

I'm stunned and gratified that John Brahm's The Lodger and Hangover Square have made it out. They were never even on VHS or laserdisc.

If anybody else has been wondering about "Stingray," here is some news on that one:

http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Sti...te-Series/9025

Basically, it is now being looked at for "March/April." Which, this being March, we can expect will turn into "May/June" any day now.

Holy fuck, Duckman!

The African Queen. That this film is on DVD is an outrage.
Far From The Madding Crowd
And for TV Series the original "Batman", "Maverick" and "Police Story".

On the good side "El Cid" is finally out,and the other Samuel Bronson epics to follow, starting with "Fall Of The Roman Empire" (The film Ridley Scott pretty much remade without giving credit as "Gladiator") and "55 Days At Peking" this summer.

Salute Your Shorts. I loved this tv show so much when I was a kid. I'd love to get that dvd set if it ever happens.

The Vindicator. Great Canadian sci-fi movie from '86, starring Pam Grier, Maury Chaykin, and a host of Canadian actors, that should be on Anchor Bay's or Blue Underground's list as a movie that should be released.

Always like these threads. Most of the stuff I want on DVD is already out or coming. Random thoughts...

That's cool about Duckman. I could have sworn the original Sleuth was put out by Anchor Bay years ago (even saw a copy at the downtown library), but probably OOP now.

And to paraphrase my fellow Rochesterian, where the hell is Freakazoid?

Criterion's releasing it sometime this year.

Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion, at least, according to Netflix. Also, "Last Year at Marienbad," but Dre says that's getting a Criterion.
