I don't want to presume what kind of viewers you guys are, but I will say that if on the first viewing you were (rightfully) engrossed by the story and the performances, watch the film at least one more time and look at how brilliantly Lumet shot it, what he does with the background and foreground, how he plays with physical space in the room. It's just fucking remarkable.

Just one of my favorite, favorite movies on earth, and I'll stop what I'm doing and watch this whenever it's being shown. This is one of those movies I never get tired of, and always try to make time for if it's on. Lee J. Cobb's rant and subsequent break down at the end, "Not guilty, not guilty...." while he scrabbles for the torn up pieces of his son's photograph, is brilliant. Gets me everytime.
EDIT: Wow, a cool little coincidence just happened. I just went to my Netflix queue to see what was coming next for me. Back last June,
12 Angry Men was the very first movie from Netflix that I received when I started my account. Today I clicked on my account, and the suggestion there was: "Because you liked
12 Angry Men, may we suggest
