As promised, my original Faculty theater banner. It actually goes lower, but my nightstand is in front of it, and to the right just visible is my bed.

I still collect vhs too.

I'm surprised that people actually hang up their banners. I've got a few, but they're so huge. Maybe, I just need some spare room for them.
That's the only banner that I have, and I've got other posters, including a few on the walls, but I have no other room. That's taken by the action figures I have up.
I had a few banners strapped to the roof of my car along with my bed when I moved myself from Tucson to St. Paul 6 years ago. They were lost somewhere in New Mexico.
Oh that sucks. What movies were they for?
I'll tell you what I love about VHS: rewinding. Man, what better 8 minutes can there be than rewinding a tape after it's done. And don't even get me started on fast forwarding. MmmMmmm.

I haven't used a VHS tape in at least 5 years.

Um, I guess they were more like stand-ups mostly, is that the same thing just a different term?

Lets see...Alien Ressurrection (no big loss), there was a hard to find Marilyn Monroe in a red bathing suit, and another one that escapes me now. The Big Lebowski Best Buy sales thing was the only piece that hung on.The bigger loss was that I was dumb enough to stick some of my larger paintings up there too.

I woke up this morning, guess what I found? Another DVD!

My Chappelle's Show season 1 dvd was trying to play my electric organ! Can you believe that?
A banner is like what I posted a while ago. You're probably talking standees. Either way it's a loss.

The dollar movies that I go to has a huge Rambo standee that's the spray painted one. I'd ask if I could buy it, but it has a large tear in the middle of it.
Standees, you say? Why, I believe I may be of some assistance on that point. This is a standee:

This is a repost from another thread, but this is just my book shelf. And the bottom shelf which didn't register is full of my HD movies and video games.

Because I'm not sure I've properly conveyed my geekitude just yet:

nice collection of trailers.

I don't have that many, just random ones that I've picked up over the years.

Nope. No mugs.

I actually was able to speak with the chief publicist for Juno (or her assistant, it never was made clear) and she was really awesome about it. Fox did us up right as there are a bunch of other posters they sent that aren't in that picture. 5 Once One-Sheets, 15 Savages, some others.

Warner Brothers sent us thirty 10,000BC mini-posters and some Fool's Gold Giligan hats. Epic fail.

I walked into a Blockbuster Video in 1999 and asked if I could have the multi-panel Fight Club window decoration. The girl behind the counter laughed at me and said, "Ha, I don't think so. I've had dibs on that for weeks." And that's the story of how I met my wife

(not really)

My college roomate and I were packed to the gills with Phantom Menace stuff his dad had 'borrowed' from his work. I only have a few pictures of the early stuff, unfortunately, not the phase when we couldn't even walk through the TV room and kitchen.

Test it out. If it works, I might be willing to make a trade for a hamburger phone.

I too have yet to get return of the king.

Where can I buy a decent DVD shelf set thing? I know there was a thread a while back about it. I have a very small, shitty flimsy set of shelves that I refuse to even chance my DVDs on, so they are in bunch of dangerous stacks right now.

My little geeky thing is my goal to own Jurassic Park in all released popular formats.

I need a 35mm print and I can open the gates of hell. One day.....one day....

Seconded. I've gotta get my stuff framed.

Thanks! From a 1970 German re-release, I think? Yummier close up:

That wall's the only wall in my house with geek stuff on it. The rest is in tubes, waiting for more wall space.
I've lost or broken most of my movie stuff over the years, and my want to act like a grown-up has cut down on the posters and toys, but here are my autographs.

These are two of three Suspiria lobby cards I found in a weirdo comic book store in Glendale, AZ. One was autographed and the lady still only charged me a couple of bucks for all three. And my autographed copy of the Ramones album was only a couple bucks because the cashier didn't notice the autographs until after he was bagging it. (not shown, my John Saxon autograph I got in person).

and here's some of my DVD's toys, and on the bottom my few VHSes.

I don't have a picture but this is more of a Breaking News post.

I was just, hours ago, given my first collectible statue as a gift from a close friend.

What statue?

Oh, fuck yeah.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't extremely proud to own this now.
Now comes the task of keeping it in good condition.

What does the bottle say?

In regards to comic book statues I have:

to be continued...

<-(this is the mini version)

I also have 2 more statues by the above sculptor, Ron Lee. One with Superman holding the flag and the other holding Lois. Can't find good pics of those.

And I have a few statues from a line Hallmark put out in the 90s showing Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman in the Golden, Silver, and Modern age. I have the Superman and Wonder Woman modern age ones, and the Silver Age Batman (w/ Robin)

I have the full size of the middle "Seinfeld" statue. I hug it.

If you have a CostCo near you the 4-disc ROTK is only $11, regular price. I finally picked it up a couple months ago.
