So the cat was getting revenge on all the filthy humans?
See, Tati? You blame me for wrecking your weekend, and then we get some Matchstick goodness anyway (when I was a kid, my mom always said "it doesn't cost anything to ask").

"And, pretty soon, you find yourself at home, propped up in front of the television set, dropping snacks into your eyes" and "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you screenwriter Andrew Klavan" were just awesome!

Thanks very much, Matchstick - don't stay away so long, your stuff is very much missed.

The screencap Mist and KISS jokes were fantastic (well all the screencaps really)

Wonderful.

Echoing the specific praises everyone else beat me to as well, great review. Normally I couldn't give a fuck about a review for something like this, but you manage to keep things very fun to read. Write for the site more! Again, a total pleasure. Thanks!

If only that cat in the movie had the skills of your avatar, Trejo. Thanks for reading this guys. I'm honestly fascinated by the guy who played the One Missed Call ringtone on guitar and posted it on the web. We are truly living in a time of wonder.

Diva, you know I love you - even with your senseless Xtina hate.

Awesome stuff as usual sir (Can't believe you stole my one mist call joke though)

I wink at you.

Kind horrid,

I did not realize I was lifting from you, but I tip my hat. That joke makes me chuckle.

I kept trying to read that review yesterday but was always interrupted by work, on a Friday no less! Finally got through it now. Well worth the wait.

Think nothing of it, your joke had more wit and subtlety than mine could have hoped for. In fact back in the days when we had rep comments I was called a poor man's Kevin Matchstick, more than once. I have come to accept it as my station in life, but take some solace in the fact that somewhere out there is a poor man's Steve Murphy.

Time for another escapade, Kevin.

Ditto. Although, I agree with his request.

I liked the story from your other website about the time you, Nick and Steve were in a Diner and some fat guy went loco.
Other website? Crazy fat guy? Answers, please.

I kind of remember something happening like this, but I don't think I was there or wrote it up. Maybe Nick did? The only other Web site that I'd have stuff up at is my sad MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/petezha) - there are some old and weird blogs there.

Hope you guys like hearing about cats. That's the focus of my next CHUD blog. Look for it soon, probablymaybe.

Was it Nationpunched, maybe?
I think either Nick or Sweeney wrote about that somewhere. A fight at the Waffle House in the middle of the night, then some dude yelling at the waitress after?
God I want there to be another blog entry from Matchstick, I want it so bad I can taste it and it tastes like victory and dreams.
That was it, Sweeney.

Wow, I had no idea that Matchstick had a blog, so thanks for bumping this if for no other reason than I got to read about the turtle rescue and the shoes incident. Delightful stuff.

Kevin, I think I want to live inside your head.

I'll answer any questions you may have regarding this incident.

Any chance of getting that cat blog soon?

Awesome. The turtle "fled"? How? Mosied, more like. Yeah, I'll try and get that cat blog up soon. Well, before 2010.
I don't want to rush you because I want you to take your time and really make another piece of perfection, but I am anticipating this greatly, I'm not going to lie this may be the highlight of my 2009 so far. (No pressure.)

Write the fucking blog!
I can only agree with the gentlemen, were K-Match to bring it it would make myworld a better place.

Thanks, guys. A praying mantis landed on the under side of my shopping cart the other night. I mean, that's a blog right there.
