Really, unless you listen to some bands a lot, they usually do tend to have similar sounding songs, or entire catalogs. It happens.
When I was younger(and before I got into Nirvana), every track on Nevermind basically sounded the same. I still feel 311 has made 20 albums chock-full of the same song, but a 311 fan will be able to point them all out just by hearing a few lyrics. Probably.
