The creator of The Rocketeer passed away from leukemia. His friend Mark Evanier has more on his blog here.

That sucks. Stevens got me to discover Betty Page as a 10 year old. Bless that man. Bless him.

Prankster, I don't know if that line is in the comic or not -- it's been a while -- but when I think of the Rockteer, that and Betty Page are the two things I think of.

I usually think of Neville Sinclair bringing down the house. Or "It's all just part of the show".

This is truly sad news either way.
