Someone's gotta stop Bay!

I realize the original can come off as dated; it's got late 60's - early 70's written all over it in both literary & cinematic forms, but is this truly necessary? All that can be improved upon, IMO, is the effects. And for their purpose (we never really are allowed to know how much of what Rosemary undergoes is real, and how much is a drug induced dream, and we never geta look at the demonic kid; doe he REALLY have horns & a tail?), the effects they DO have in the original work just fine. The confusion & uncertainty are kind of the POINT. This film is at least as much psychological thriller as it is devil worship flick. I can't see a remake doing anything but ruining that vibe. All that having been said, however, I guess it's remotely (REMOTELY, I said!) possible a more straightforward take on the tale can be entertaining, if not quite as sophisticated or subtle.
