Need feedback on some movies

There are 7 films left out of the 8 films to die for series in the review que and I was wanting some feedback regarding the gore factor for each of these films.

Borderland
Crazy Eights
Deaths of Ian Stone, The
Lake Dead
Nightmare Man
Tooth & Nail
Unearthed

Too much gore and I'll pass. If there is a mimimal amount I might request a couple of these.

There's gore to be had in all of them, but it's not really bad in any aside from "Borderland". That's easily the most violent & bloody of the bunch. "Unearthed" might have come in second, but it was so poorly shot it's hard to tell.

Mind you, the above comes from a dedicated & unabashed gorehound, so I may be a wee bit jaded in my assessment that the remainder aren't 'too bad'. perhaps someone can second me on this assessment so as to give my opinion a reality check?

So far Borderland and Ian Stone are the only two I've liked on your list (I also enjoyed Mulberry St. for what it was), but niether was particularly gory. Borderland has a bloody opening scene, but the rest of it is pretty tame.

I'd go for Ian Stone if I were you, it really isn't even a horror movie.

For the few that have seen Borderland- this one's like a Mexican version of Hostel, correct? Worth a rent? I don't see it mentioned much.

Kind of like a waaaay toned down version of Hostel with a little TCM thrown in.

Tooth and Nail was a mess. It had a promising cast and premise but managed to head drastically in the wrong direction whenever the opportunity to do something interesting presented itself. It's like it was trying to just narrowly avoid the much more interesting movie that was waiting around the corner.

Hear, hear. ALL it had going for it was the Michael Madsen cameo. And that only barely.

Haven't seen anything from that list, but I heard a lot about Ian Stone. Nothing positive.
