All the great ones are taken, and I haven't actively sat down to watch this show for about 8 years or so now. But the other weekend I walked past the TV and an episode I hadn't seen before was on - I don't know what the set-up was, but the family was returning home from some outing and the car was completely filled with stuff. Homer said something about all those years of Tetris about to be worth it . . . and the Tetris music kicked in and Homer started folding, bending and turning the family members to make them fit in the car.

Just came out of nowhere and I damn near coughed up a lung.

Well, while we're putting up images for avatars...

Best image has to be of Homer's "File Photo", which was your avatar at one point Jaime.

Here you go, good Sir. You know, if you want to use it as your next avatar.

Nah, I'm good for now. However, I should backpocket that one.

Homer taking on the international terrorists who have taken over the plant:

"NOT ON MY SHIFT!"

One of my favorites two. This whole scene, with Burns and his Nazi snowmen kills me everytime.

And in the same episode, Ralph eats the berries.

Bart: "How are they, Ralph? Good?"

Ralph: "They taste like burning!"

Also, "GO BANANA!"

It's also has one of my favorite Bart quotes:
Quote:
It'll be like "Swiss Family Robinson", but with more cursing. We're gonna live like kings! Damn Hell Ass Kings!

I actually really enjoy that episode:

Homer: That horse better win or we're going to take a trip the glue factory....AND HE WON'T GET TO COME!

Homer: Jeeze, I just want to get some horse deelies.

Speaking of profanity:

Homer: "Kids, will you step out for a second. F..."

Flanders: "Dear lord, that was the loudest profanity I ever heard."

I've been working my way through S9 on DVD lately, and I hit "The Girly Edition" last weekend. Near the end, when Lisa leaves during Bart's live broadcast at the junkyard to save him, she asks Nelson to cover for her.

Nelson sits down, attaches lavelier mic, straightens papers, looks into the camera...

*armpit farts*

I laughed long and hard, yet again.

Then, of course, they switch to Camera B, which he faces, and continues with the pitfarts. So good.

"Homer and Apu" has the one moment that kills me everytime I see it:

Apu: I have come to make amends, sir. At first, I blamed you for squealing, but then I realized, it was I who wronged you. So I have come to work off my debt. I am at your service.

Homer: You're...selling what, now?

Apu: I am selling only the concept of karmic realignment.

Homer: You can't sell that! Karma can only be portioned out by the cosmos. [slams the door]

Apu: He's got me there.

Nixon's "You'll pay...don't think you won't pay" is a hilarious payoff to the pignapping. Alsos the Dean getting hit by the car.

Kennedy: "I'd like to a take moment to express my appreciation for Duff beer."
*applause*
Nixon:"I would also like to express my fondness for that particular beer" *boos*

Homer: The man never drank a Duff in his life

Even better:

"And how come Batman doesn't dance anymore? Doesn't anyone remember the bat-tu-si?"

With the horrified look on Homer and the kids' faces.

was watchin some old stuff off the DVDs last night after 24 and came across this gem...

Homer: "wait a minute...Bart's teachers name is Krabapel? I've been calling her Krandall, why didn't anybody tell me, awww I've been looking like an idiot"

The delivery of the line is just so perfect.

Funny how that joke became slightly dated after Batman Forever, but now works again.
