German brother and sister lose right to bang each other

If family members, as long as it's consensual, want to have sex with each other then fine. But they should not be allowed to have children. This couple has four kids two of which are mentally disabled. Not to mention the problems the kids will face when they get older and goto high school where others will know their parents are brother and sister.

I can't get the sound at work, but their story has been going on for a while. I believe the brother had been jailed once before as well. I remember a statement from the German government stating that the law was in fact to prevent reproduction by incest, because of the higher possibility of mental disabilities.

Seriously, if you just got to bang your hot sister, wrap that rascal.

I really try to be accepting of other people as long as what they're doing is consensual and it's making them happy but...eeeeeeeeeew.

It's really quite gross and creepy enough on it's own, but then they had FOUR kids? Why would you knowingly do that? How fucked up and cruel do you have to be to doom your children to horrible horrible lives and mental disabilities? People suck!

I don't even think it's all that hypocritical. As far as consensual incest goes I'd generally say "Eeew! You can do that if you want I guess but stay the hell away from me you freaks!"

But when it comes to having CHILDREN through incest, knowingly putting them at risk of deformity and mental disabilities (And big surprise, 2 out of the 4 are thus afflicted) that is where I start to take real issue.

How can these people look at their disabled children every day and live with what they've done? How can they go to sleep at night knowing that they brought these little kids into a world of sickness and suffering?

Because they are actually brother and sister by blood. He was adopted into a different family when they were young and they only met when they were older.

What's really funny is that kid actually can't play a banjo at all...they had to rig a special shirt so that a REAL banjo player, who is reportedly better looking and normal in every way, could slip his arm through and play the banjo from behind the freak - er...actor.
