Ooh, excellent. Just checked out the soundtrack listing and "Little T&A" is on there, which is very cool. Looking forward to this one.

Do you know what the date of the screening will be, at least approximately? I don't want to waste your time with an entry if I won't be able to go.

April 1, I think -- that's what I was told by the rep when I missed a morning screening a few weeks back because my fookin' car wouldn't start me up.

Blast. I'd love to go to that but I'll still be here in Savannah.

I entered my info through Nick's Atlanta link, but never saw anything back. I still want to see it soon, though, but I can't find any information about when and where it will play in the Atlanta area. Anyone know if it will come out here on April 4th and, if so, which theaters will have it?

Box Office Mojo has the theater count for this at 250 this weekend, so there's a good chance I'll have to wait another few weeks before I get to see this hunk.

On the plus side, I just got the soundtrack so I have that to keep my company.

It does open on the 4th here in ATL. It'll be at the MoG IMAX theatre (where I saw it tonight) and at least one other theatre, I believe.

Good film. Too much a performance doc to be for anyone who isn't at least passively into the band, but often great for those of us who are. 'Champagne and Reefer', done with Buddy Guy, is fucking killer and prolly worth the price of admission.

That's gotta be one of, if not the best, songs on the album.

Having not seen the movie yet, I'm sure there's a context for this line on the album: it's the part where some guys' talking to Scorsese and he says, "If Mick stands in front of the light for more than 18 seconds, it's gonna burn." And Marty: "What you mean like flames? We cannot burn Mick Jagger -very simple fact."

I'm loving this movie already.

Thanks for the info, Russ. I wasn't getting any Atlanta hits on sites like movietickets.com, moviefone.com, etc.

I'm a big fan of 'classic' Stones and Scorsese is the greatest, so I can't imagine not digging this. And since I doubt I'll see them in concert before they die, seeing it in IMAX is worth it.
