More french gruesomeness. Frontière(s) is in the same vein as À l'intérieur (Inside) and Haute Tension (High Tension), a really drastic and bloody piece both original and relentless.
I don't know why the french lately became so good at extremely violent movies, but if you liked one of the named above, you'll also love this one.
It's about a bunch of violent teenage outsiders who leave a Paris torn apart by riots. In the countryside they meet a community of sick fucks lead by an old Nazi, who does have a thing for cannibalism, breeding and major bloodloss.
Most surprising, this is directed by Xavier Gens, the guy behind the awful Hitman flick. Nothing suggests that they were made by the same guy, as they're totally different. Also, no fucking twist ending as in Ils (Them) or Tension. This is just straight bloody action that keeps you in the seat for it's whole runtime.
