Great review, sir. I had no knowledge about this flick prior to reading, but now I NEED to see it.

Of course, I still need to see The Girl Next Door, so I'm a bit behind right now.

Jack and Jill is from may by Siverston's good buddy Lucky Mckee.

Loved the movie saw it yesterday and was not let down.

Just kidding, but this sounds interesting. Really liked The Girl Next Door... as far as "like" fits to a flick like that.

The movie features the Oft-Nude Misty Mundae...nudity is a given.

I'm SUPER DUPER HAPPY Jack Ketchum is catching a break in the popularity and distribution of his properties. I loved 'Girl Next Door' the movie. It was a perfect adaptation of the book, and was a great 'gateway drug' towards reading his books.

Also, I'm excited for his new book coming out in August. It's called 'Old Flames', right? Does anyone know what the premise of the book is? I've looked, but everywhere just says "Coming in Summer 2008". I'm just curious.

This came out dvd recently, here and I just happened to look at it and saw that Creature corner got a pull quote on the back cover, which is the first time I'd seen one in person, so naturally I had to give it a spin. It was a pretty cool little movie. The main dude reminded me of wacky Christian Bale a bit.

I got the version included in the 2 pack w/ TGND from Amazon, & there is no CC Pull Quote. What did it say? I saw one other that I can recall, on the back of a zombie short story collection called "The Undead", I think.

And I can't load the review now, either. I wanted to re-read it. What gives?

You know, this is not a bad movie at all. The director wears his David Lynch influence on his sleeve, but the Blue Velvet-esque style really works with The Lost. The opening shot, the use of color, the vibe of the actors. I think he pulled it off.

I love how the characters are horror archetypes (the femme fatale, the strong female protagonist, the world-worn cop, etc.), but filled out with great depth. Kudos to Ketchum, obviously, but the actors are all great too. Marc Senter hits a nice balance b/w cartoonish, suave, insecure, real. Shay Astar, Michael Bowen, Robin Sydney are all great too.
