Still keyless. Ive asked a few friends online and they either had no idea about it or didnt subscribe to any of the sites. Im sorta playing around with the idea with signing up and paying for it just to test it out. Hows the game play so far???

Going to get an article up later after some more playtime, but as it is now- it's fast, fun, and frantic. Alliteration! The boards included are fun as shit and the sense of scale is amazing. Massive boards with all kinds of ways to go at them.

Funny, cause they didn't seem to be focusing on the multiplayer aspect when i tried the game out a few months ago. But they definitely made a solid online game here... I haven't even had any bugs playing yet.

(edit- Oh, and one thing I'm assuming you could do would be to pre-order the game from Gamestop/EBgames, get the code, and then cancel the pre-order.)

Man I cannot fucking wait for this game.

I've been unlocking most of the weapons, and some are pretty fantastic- like the targeting system the sniper can use to take out tanks (with a massive dropped bomb that you control), and the landmines for the demolition units.

I had an amazing moment yesterday on the Oasis board when I turned to see a jeep crashing through some trees. The guys on board noticed me, and came flying right towards me. I had a landmine in my hand so I threw it down in front of me quickly and dove to the side, just in time to blow up the jeep and watch the flaming wreckage come hurtling past.

The game's really full of huge moments like that, one after the other. I still can't believe how much fun this one is.

I wasn't a fan of this game last night. I think I was in wierd mood, but I was having lag issues. Which is weird.

That is weird. I haven't had one problem with the Beta, yet... which is surprising, especially when you think of all the supposedly finished games (like Rainbow Six Vegas 2) with issues....

That's kinda like asking for BF:Modern Warfare on the PC though - that was always a scaled-down version of BF2. I imagine whatever they're cooking up for the PC will be more epic.

Also, fuck the microtransactions for guns. There's no excuses for it, whatsoever. Maps are fair game as long as the game comes with enough in the first place (take note motorstorm you tight bastards). But paying for HALF the weapons?

The only time this would be acceptable is if the basic game is cheaper than the usual RRP - that way only the consumer benefits by having a true "option".

Haha, had the same problem. There is a place on the Marketplace blade for 'Redeem a code' or something. You just enter it there.

Just type it in the redeem code section on the Xbox Live blade in the menu (hit left). It should tell you what it is and allow you to download the demo right there.

Thanks for the code, Alex. Took forever to download, but finally finished. The single player was fun, but the multiplayer is certainly where it's at.

It didn't download.

Typed the code in, downloaded it, walked away from it and did some laundry.

Came back to it to check progress and it said I had no active downloads. Went to the demo section of my 360 and didn't see it. Checked my memory and saw it but it had that yellow triangle symbol with an exclamation point in it. The only thing I could do was delete it.

I had the same problem earlier. Just go into the system memory and delete the download. Then, go to the marketplace, look up your download history, and try again.
