Good Music Podcasts

What are some of the better music podcasts out there? I'm interested in both concert-related stuff and variety, as well as ones that play new music. My favorite radio stations are basically Adult Album Alternative/public radio. (I just discovered "All Songs Considered", for example.)

All Songs Considered has some good concert podcasts up. Their regular show is pretty good, too. I also really like KEXP and KCRW (especially Morning Becomes Eclectic).

Yeah, I'm really loving the concerts on All Songs Considered; the quality's pretty great and they have a ton of bands that I like or have just gotten into. (National, Explosions in the Sky, Arcade Fire, Hold Steady) I have KEXP's song of the day on my list. Also, Coverville, which I can tell is going to be either awesome and/or not awesome. I'll have to check out Morning Becomes Eclectic.

Lyrics Undercover, however, can suck a fuck.

Sound Opinions. I don't always agree with the hosts, but they keep a keen ear on what's going on in music.

I was thinking about starting a thread like this up just the other day. Morning Becomes Eclectic is pretty great, but I've been trying to hunt some others down. I listen to Pandora Radio a lot and I've got Sirius which is always great, but sometimes I really just want somebody to pick music for me on my iPod.

BBC Radio 1 does these "Essential Selections" shows where guest DJs spin music for about an hour, hour and a half maybe. They might be made into podcasts but I wouldn't know - a friend of mine burns me copies when he gets the chance and I rely solely on him or Sirius for that stuff.

I listened to Pandora Radio also.

I'm going to second (or third, or whatever) the KEXP podcasts. That's probably my favorite radio station, so I'm a bit biased, but I subscribe to their Song of the Day, Live @ KEXP, and Music That Matters podcasts, all of which have introduced me to some great music that I otherwise would probably have never been exposed to. I used to subscribe to their Sonarchy Radio ("a live performance broadcast that showcases many northwest artists who are pushing the limits of music"), but after a while I just realized it wasn't for me.

I also subscribe to All Songs Considered, which is great. I really should subscribe to the Morning Becomes Eclectic, as I've got the first two CD compilations they released in the 90s, and absolutely love them.

I never used any of these before, but I just listened to the ASC's Arcade Fire concert from last year and loved it.

Some of the arrangements on the ASC National Concert are great. Also, yeah, the KEXP Song of the Day is the best thing ever.
