DVD Problems with Laptop

For some bizarre reason my laptop plays almost every DVD in my collection except for two: Gone Baby Gone and The Mist. When I put in both of them and open my DVD player I just click play over and over again, nothing. When I open the disk in My Computer it displays two empty file directories, Video and Audio.

Any ideas?

Are they using that new-fangled copy protection? Some of those won't work on my desktop either. May not be the issue but worth looking into.

Hmm. I updated my computer and it works now. Guess there must've been a DVD update in there somewhere.
