Anyone ever play "Telephone Pictionary"?

I've played this game at a few parties. It's a good time if you don't have the money for real party games like Apples to Apples or Catch-Phrase.
The rules are:
1. Everyone writes a phrase on the top of a sheet of paper and hands it to the person next to them.
2. That person quickly (and smally) draws the phrase to the best of their ability, then folds the words over so that the next person can only see their drawing.
3. The third person writes their best guess of a phrase based on the new drawing, then folds the paper so the next person can only see their new phrase.
ETC.

Here's a fun sample:

1. I've never been to a party where this kind of game would happen. Ever. But it does look fun in an, as Summer would put it, adorkable way.

2. The online equivilient: http://www.eatpoopucat.com/

Most of my "parties" revolve around people sitting and either talking, watching tv, strumming guitars or playing video games, so you can see how this would fit in there.

Thanks for the link, I bet that's where the people who showed me the game got the idea.

Why is it called "Telephone Pictonary?" And that sketch after "The Odyssey" is great.

Because it's a mix of the kid's games of telephone and pictionary.

And I was the poor sap that was handed "The Odyssey", thanks for the compliment.

Because it's based off the game "telephone" which is a verbal-only version of the game they play in schools. Add drawings? Pictionary.

Damn, you're quick Gabe

Telephone is a game you play in school with as many people as possible. Kids number one whispers a phrase in kid number two's ear, who passes the phrase on to the next kid. If you have enough kids and enough speach impediments hilarity insues.
