A Machete Trilogy?

Brian's article - http://www.creature-corner.com/?type=news&id=3324

I'd be happy just for one film, even if there's really no way it could live up to the beauty of that trailer.

As long as the poster in that article is the actual one-sheet they use (so I can buy it and frame that bitch on my wall) than hell yes.

Of course, I'm biased for obvious reasons.

One film would make me happy, though like Alex said, it would have a hard time living up to the trailer. Three just seems like overkill, but I'm interested to see if they can pull it off.

Still, I'm sad that I didn't get to see a second Grindhouse double feature of Machete and Thanksgiving (or a movie about Lee from Death Proof taking revenge on the hillbillies who raped her, and then her friends for leaving her there to be raped).

Would love it to happen, but need more than Trejo's good word to convince me it will. Someone ask Fahey or Cheech.

Holy fuck that poster!

Everyone who saw Grindhouse wants this to happen, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
If it doesn't happen, I'd at least like to see more 'subdued trejo' in movies.

"yes bro."

These fake trailers were the best thing about GRINDHOUSE.

Also, that Machete poster has been floating around since Grindhouse was released.

Please dont give Tarantino any ideas we dont need anymore women looking for revenge flicks.

I'm so conflicted! It would be incredibly awesome if this happened, but could even one feature length movie hold up to that trailer? As Chris said, a trilogy might just be overkill.

Another thing to consider is that the trailer was pretty complete unto itself. What could you possibly add to that to make it better? It seems like they'd just end up rehashing the same jokes and making fun of the same cliches over and over again until it became stale. I'd rather have the trailer exist the way it is in perfect glory than have it tainted.

Which is about ten people. So Machete's budget would be only about 100 bucks... which on second thought may actually be enough for it. Let's do this!
And Thanksgiving, and DON'T. But only if that voice says 'IF YOU... DON'T' nonstop.

Rodriguez could probably shoot for a solid month with $100

Man, I loved that trailer but don't think they could make an entire trilogy about it. I do however want that fucking poster framed in my living room, like right now!
