Did any of you chewers have this as a kid?

Was it a really a blast to play with? I need someone to tell me it was lame, and a waste of money, so I can finally move on. I need to know I really didn't miss much being poor and unable to afford it. Thanks.

I didn't own it, but for a few years I was friends with a pair of kids who did.

I can't tell you it was lame, because it wasn't. It was cool.

But like most/any toys, it loses its' allure after a few weeks (particularly when you're not using any of the aircraft that it's supposed to carry). You didn't miss anything that was different from any other cool toy, regardless of the size. Well, except the sheer shock and awe of walking into a room and seeing a toy that was bigger than your dad. That's about the only thing about the experience that's pretty unique.

Move on...you can do it!

That's cool that they named a ship after Randall.

I got one for christmas when I was a kid. Yea it was awsome, and it took up my whole bottom bunk. When I got older and wanted it out of my room it ended up in the garage for years. Last time I saw it my dad was hitting it with a hammer to break it into pieces to throw it away. Ahhh U.S.S. Flagg I miss you.

Yeah, I checked ebay for the hell of it. It is extremely large, but there doesn't see to be a whole lot of play value actually. Just this connected to a large table top :

Well it came with a couple small vehicles if I remember right but only one figure. Other than the control deck it was just massive plastic with a few features. It felt like even though I had an armada of Joes I never had enough manpower or aircraft to efficiently run my Flagg to my make believe standards.

Ok, I've moved on.

Now what about that 3 foot Millennium Falcon coming out later this year:

Everything's Eventual.

I had it too, with the jet. "Fun Factor" ran out within hours. I was hoping I could use it in my pool, but no fucking way would that fucker float. I think Hasbro missed the aircraft carrier by not making it pool-usable.

It came with the little admiral guy who didn't even get onto the cartoon. I'm still underwhelemed after all these years. I had the Terrordome, and THAT was a play set.
