I agree. Having Bond captured was ballsy.,,Then it just went back to it's old tricks.

Less Than Zero was made into a movie?

Tank Girl is a wonderful movie. Lori Petty's great.

Agreed, Patrick. I still can't believe that Naomi Watts was in this.

Strangely enough I don't hate Ballistic Ecks vs Sever. The Action scenes are flat and the script mediocre, but I wasn't insulted by it like some of the films I've seen recently (e.g LEGION, PRINCE OF PERSIA).

I don't know about that, but it probably would have been better with McGregor (who was originally promised the lead role), and I like DiCaprio.

Never seen it, but I say that movie dies at the title. What a tremendously shitty title for a film, prints for the film may as well have come with a taped on sign that said "Kick Me, I Suck".

There are scenes and performances in X-MEN: THE LAST STAND which are as good as or only slightly below the Singer films in terms of quality. As a whole it's clunky and rushed but no way is it one of ten worst films ever made, or even "movies you've seen". Or if it is, you've not seen a lot of movies.

The thing about X-MEN: THE LAST STAND is that, for all its flaws, it's full of superpowered characters doing superpowered things, which, let's face it, is the biggest reason most of us began reading the comics in the first place. And that's something that better movies often can't find the time (or interest) for.

Not defending it as a great film (though heaven knows, it beats what came after), but as Andrew says, it's not like it's light-years different from Singer's films: they're better, but they're not SO much better that the third one should be regarded as some kind of atrocity; for me, anyway, it was a mild disappointment.

Does Seagal DTV count? Because Attack Force is an abomination in so many forms.

Seagal fights Mutant Vampires from France in this one.

Dude, don't be redundant. Just say "the French".

Just had a look at me and my friends' IMDB profile that we used to rate movies that we rented a few summers ago, and these stood out. Some might be DTV.

1) Ninja Vengeance (1988) - Absolutely NO ninjas in the whole movie, the main character got his ass kicked through the whole movie by rednecks in the woods, and his main skill was apparently rolling.

2) Ankle Biters - Midget vampire movie. "Three feet tall, 2 inch fangs"
3) Dracula 3000 - Coolio is in this.
4) Mortal Kombat: Annihilation
5) Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation
6) The Spirit - I really fucking hate this movie.
7) Next
8) Resident Evil: Extinction - The third one, they gave Alice telekinesis
9) Alone in the Dark / Bloodrayne (tie) - I can't decide which one of these Uwe Boll shitpieces is worse, and they are far worse than House of the Dead which at least makes me laugh with that ridiculous techno fight sequence (followed immediately by a remix of the scene that you just watched) and the random splicing in of scenes from the arcade game.
10) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III - an atrocity, I went to the theater to see this as a kid and it was just awful.
