I wasn't a big fan of page 1 for Day of the Devil at all but I really dug this one (and yes, I realize it's a little silly to write my reaction to just one page of a comic book).
I'm really looking forward to more.

Two for two so far. This one has grabbed me as well. I think what I like about both so far is that you have a great talent for hooking the reader from the first couple of panels. It's like being smacked upside the head by a juicy ribeye steak that immediately makes you want to find out what sides it comes with while you hungrily smack your lips.


Or something like that. Good stuff, Nick.

Hunh. I guess there are. I didn't think most of the talkbackers read any of the actual articles, but instead just spewed forth ignorant assbabble. I don't read them as much because I figured there's only so many ways you can call someone a cock-sniffing cunt-joker.

That's not to say I don't give credit where credit is due. There are certainly some decent commenters in the talkbacks, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to weed through all the muck to find the good replies.

Either way, I'm glad I'm not the only one enjoying the comics. I shall stand here corrected.

This one seems to be a bit of a slower burn than Pain (my current favorite of these). However, more people should be encouraged to engage in small talk with horses.
