SON OF RAMBOW is the name of the home movie made by two little boys with a big camera and even bigger ambitions. Set on a long English summer in the early 80's, SON OF RAMBOW is a comedy about friendship, faith and the weird business of growing up. Cast: Bill Milner, Will Poulter, Adam Godley. Q&A to follow screening with writer/director Garth Jennings.
I already grabbed some seats. Anyone else interested?

not going, but hope someone at the Q&A asks about the rumored alternate ending where Son of Rambow blows his brains out.

I wish. I'll most likely be working late all of next week. Sadness.

Is it the usual Arclight cost? I might try to get to this next week.

$12 per ticket, $11 if you have a membership.

I fear this movie might not get as much recognition as it needs, because it'll need it opening up against SPEED RACER or IRON MAN or whatever.

It's still one of my favorites of the year - filled with great moments that those of us who tried making movies as kids will definitely identify with. And there's a fucking flying dog. The Hammer and Tongs guys have finally made a good movie after making great shorts.

See it. Plain and simple.
