Thanks CHUD reviewers!

I avoided them to remain spoiler-free, but I recently got around to digging up and reading all the NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN reviews (film & DVD). You guys rock. Every one of them was intelligent, on-the-money, and illuminating (especially in hindsight), and not a single one was redundant. Like a potluck dinner, each one offered their own distinctly-flavored casserole of insight and praise. Like the characters in the movie, I was totally blind-sided and brutalized by my viewing experience, and I'm glad there's a place on the web like CHUD for me to read about and talk about these important films. This might be better served in the Post-Release or DVD thread where the film's discussion should continue, but I wanted to make sure the contributors knew how grateful the readers are.

Here are the reviews all together (I think), if anyone missed them the 1st time. And if you haven't seen the movie, remedy it. There's a reason why it warranted so many perspectives here on CHUD.

REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (Russ)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (JEREMY'S TAKE)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (TROY'S TAKE)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (JUSTIN'S TAKE)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (RUSS' TAKE)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (DAVID'S TAKE)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (DEVIN'S TAKE)
DVD REVIEW: NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (NICK'S TAKE)

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN: DVD Review & Discussion
The New No Country For Old Men Thread

EDIT: Fixed Jeremy's link.

Yeah, the link to Jeremy's has been that way for a while.

These were all fun to read and I still feel like I could read ten more. Great job from the CHUD crew on this one.

Fixed. He tells me that was a placeholder, which ultimately became his DVD review instead.

That makes sense.

Having read all of these, I can agree: damn fine work from the whole lot.

Seriously, I gained something from reading each one. You could really tell that the enthusiasm informed the effort here. They're all top-notch and strong in their own ways. Not a single one felt like obligation or duty.
