I'm moving, and for some reason this pile of VHS is still in my possession.



Lots of home-recorded stuff (whole seasons of Larry Sanders, Mr. Show, more Planet of the Apes live action and animated TV than you'll ever watch, etc.), but most of this I've since replaced on DVD or otherwise come to my senses about. Other stuff in here:

Spies (Fritz Lang)
Freaks (Todd Browning)
Bride of the Monster (Ed Wood)
Ride Lonesome (Budd Boetticher)
There's Always Vanilla (Romero)
High School (Fred Wiseman - essential documentary viewing)
David Cross standup
misc JLA animated eps
Escape From New York (Carpenter)
Night of the Comet
Journeys With George
Blood Couple (hacky recut of underrated 70s gem Ganja & Hess)
Stakkmasters (a buddy's short from college, must be seen)
Murders in the Rue Morgue (Universal)
The Black Cat (Universal)
Purple Haze (rare, not on video)
Bottom (British comedy from the Young Ones guys)

Loads more. Anyone want it? It's free (hopefully you'd cover shipping?). No piecemeal shit - I'm mailing out one box or putting one box on the curb on Wed. PM me.

Edit: I took out Zeram because I forgot I promised it to someone.

Have you considered giving those to your local hospital? Most of them still have VHS and they're always grateful for the donation and eager to boost their offerings for the patients.

Actually, that's a good suggestion. Alas, the box was taped up immediately after the photo was taken. Maybe Hans can bring some genre crap to the ailing.

I'm sure the hospital would love all that horror!

But thanks for the suggestion. It's a perfect idea for the butt-load of Disney I've got here on VHS.

Speaking of - West Coast Video on 15th and Walnut is closing. Tons of VHS and used DVDs for sale, if anyone's in Philly and is into that sort of thing.
