Apparently not immediately following launch, but the third iteration of Tactical Ops could be making its way to the PS3. (EDIT: didn't make that too clear in the title, sorry!)
Tactical ops was a chunky version of Counterstrike and was bloody brilliant back in the day. I don't know how it'd hold up to Call of Duty 4 online, but for a free mod - it's a different class.
Worth checking out, and definitely another reason to buy the game.
