Roarin' 90's: A Cllct Fundraiser

In addition to my music that I've been bothering you all with, I've also been working with a handful of artists from around the country, developing the 001 Collective, a group of independent artists devoted to setting our music free.

Basically, the site is a community of artists where we collaborate, congregate, and upload our music to stream or download, free of charge. So far over 240 albums (from over 140 different artists!) that range from lo-fi folk to bizarre rock n roll to drug-induced noise experiments to Chiptune to acapella Beatles covers. It's a happening scene, man.

But maintaining a site like this takes a lot of money, especially with the Marconi family demanding protection money like they own the whole fuckin' internet. And we're just a bunch of college students/dollege drop-outs. We don't have a lot of money. Which brings us to this fundraiser. The artists of the 001 Collective (including myself!) came together and recorded covers of hit songs from the decade that shaped most of us into the plucky DIY kinda folks we are today: The 90's.

Some heartfelt tributes, some tongue-in-cheek parodies, this is one of the more unique compilations ever to be made ever in the history of it all. And only 100 exist. That's right, only a 100 hand-illustrated copies will be sold, and after that, there will be no more. For a mere 13 dollars (which includes shipping) you can own a copy of this magnificient album. 100% of the proceeds are going towards site maintenance and bandwidth and what-not, to keep our site running smooth and our music flowing free, like the blood from a vein into the mouth of a Dracula.

And if you don't care about any of that artsy-commie talk, buy the album ironically. It's the way the 90's would have wanted you to buy it.

I've heard Patrick's version of "How It's Gonna Be" and it's actually palatable...
