Sounds like a great EC Comics/Tales From the Crypt type premise. Good inciting incident. More original than just "family moves in to a house where murders took place".

Gotta love the tagline: "Her husband's dead... and he's taking the news badly."

This DOES sound cool. And a lil' Famke never hurt any film. Considerably helped "Deep Rising", in fact.

From the trailer, I'm not sure this movie knows what it wants to be. One moment it looks like an action movie, another it looks like a jump scare horror, etc.

This does look pretty cool - I like the trailer, which I know isn't always a good indication of a film, but this looks good.

This is from Eric Red, a man who knows how to mix his horror and action. He not only wrote the action-heavy "The Hitcher" and "Near Dark" (the originals, of course), but he wrote and directed the excellent "Body Parts", and clearly is into vehicular action and violent car chases as well as gory horror ideals. This is also the first film from Red since he went murderously insane, so there's another reason to catch it.

I'm willing to give a film with an Eric Red screenplay the benefit of a doubt. Especially that the jump scares won't be of "spring loaded cat" quality, if you know what I mean.

100 Feet is showing as a Sci Fi channel "original" this Sunday. It'll be good to finally see something new from Red (sucks that Stopping Power fell through).

Saw the ad and was just looking for the very same thread to bump. Weird outcome for this. Hope it's good.
