Nice. Yours will be in the mail soon, sir.

I'm currently in the testing section with my CDs, have burnt my draft mixes and I'm just listening to them now too see if they gel properly. Should be in the mail by Friday as long as I don't tweak too much.
It might take me a little while to do your discs, Spike. Got a pretty great idea, but it's gonna take time to do this right, and I'm in the middle of my last week of classes. Probably by the end of next week, you'll have musical goodness.

No problem man, to be honest I love seeing the reactions to mixes almost as much as I like new music.

I have to warn you though, I've gone with what works in the mix rather than whats new and odd. So I think you might know a fair few of the songs I'm using, for example my first disc is using my favourite song from Vespertine.
I don't like the idea of multiple discs. Takes a bit of the fun out of making a mix when you can just spill out over two or three discs instead of trying to find that perfect 14 or 15 song mix that'll fit on one disc.

Well my three discs are all seperate mixes within themselves, so they all have a different concept. So each disc is a perfect 15 or 16 song mix.
James, I'm listening to the first disc for the second time right now (haven't loaded the second disc into iTunes yet). It's got a great flow, and aside from Dresden Dolls and Animal Collective, it's all stuff I'm not familiar with or don't listen to. That's what I love about mixtapes. You can get so trapped by your own personal taste that you miss everything else, so when someone else makes you a mix, it takes you out of your musical comfort zone.
Yeah, I've got yours, Z-Man. I like it - and I'm glad that almost all the songs are new to me.
I'm working on yours Andrew, every time I get a free moment. I should get it out this coming week.
Good to hear. At this point, I'm just making the cases. I'm shooting for a Monday mail-date.

Some nice track lists, guys!

Mr. Dickson, I'm sending yours out today. Sorry about the delay. And don't expect fancy cases or anything. I'm not so good with that.

But expect quality mixes. Oh yes...
Looking forward to it. I'm still struggling with mine -- I'm trying to avoid the usual (for me anyway) and go for some obscurity.
Because a status update is everyone's friend:

I'm about halfway done with yours, Spike. Had to sorta scrap my original plan, because I'd be working on this fucker till September if I stuck with it. Still, when it arrives (And it *will* be before the end of next week....I've got a LOT of stuff going on starting Friday) you'll get the idea I was aiming for, and why this is taking so long. Hopefully, your patience will be rewarded.

I got the last two discs of yours in the mail yesterday, but haven't had a chance to listen yet. I'll let you know how that turns out later as well.

Jeremy, I am sending your compilation this week (hopefully). Sorry it took so long; I've had to do a lot of "research" for the liner notes.

Holy Shit Justin, those discs are incredible. You managed to find my favourite songs by Bjork and the Prodigy and put them into a mix that just works so fucking well. As you'll see from your mixes usually I don't like my music that hard, but jesus christ that was awesome.
Glad you enjoyed. A lot of work, evident, and non-evident, went into those.

"Non-evident? How?", you ask? Well, I'll tell you....

At one point? The first disc synched to the film.

Got RD's today...gonna give it a spin right about now....
