I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
Names are still up in the air (we won't know the sexes for 4-6 more weeks). But, if we have two boys, the wife wants to use Sam and Dean. Mary's such a geek.

Thanks, everyone.
Or Samantha and Dina, if they're girls? Congrats. Great Christmas news!
Here's my only advice on twins: as a preschool teacher, I'm begging you, please, for the love of all that is good and just, do not dress them in the same outfits.
Congratulations. Interesting how things work out sometimes.
Both sides of my family are loaded with twins. From what I understand there is no good news. Just hold on to your set, and hope to keep your sanity in tacked.

Big QL fan over here as well. So I support this.
Just discovered this thread today and I was touched by your journey... Reading it, my eyes welled up with tears.
I don't know you from Adam but I couldn't be happier for you right now. I'm not a deeply religious person but there is definitely something providential about this happening for you around this time.
People like you and your wife deserve all the best things in life. And, clearly, you have a blessing on the way.
As the father of a 6 month old set of twins remember, never go anywhere with them alone. They take it as a challenge to attract the most attention possible. Strength in numbers. Also, and more importantly, alternate nights to take care of them. I was much better off getting one full night of sleep and one night with about 2 hours of sleep then I was getting 5 hours every night.
Now THAT'S what I call a Christmas present! My most heartfelt congrats on your upcoming additions, and consider naming the kids Han and Chewie, especially if they're girls.
I am working an overnight shift right now and I just discovered this thread, I mostly stick to the Video Game thread, so I hope I'm not opening old wounds here.
I am happy to hear the good news about your twins, but deeply sorry to hear about your son Anakin. I had to leave your son's tribute site because I was dropping tears badly. I have a son, he's 3 years old now, that was born with no arms. Seeing my first born son being brought into this world with no arms was tough for me. Even now, seeing my son not being able to play with other kids like a normal child was something I thought was the hardest thing for a father to go through. But I am wrong. Your strength is truly an inspiration to fathers everywhere.
I'm also a bit late getting here, but CONGRATULATIONS of the highest order are definitely called for. This is great news and a most positive way to wind down a difficult year and usher in a new one! Best wishes!
Congrats!!! I'm still saddened from your past experience and in awe of your strength. I have a 15 month old daughter, and my wife and I were in tears reading your story. Best of luck to you, and thanks for bringing some more nerds into the world!
That was my first suggestion, but it got nixed. She's more of an Orpheus/Monarch fan. I also suggested Mortimer and Randolph, but she didn't get that one.
We're kinda stuck on girl names. Though she likes the "princess" theme(Aurora, Snow, Jasmine, Ariel, etc).
Thanks for all the well wishing, everyone. The wife and I really, really appreciate it.
