Did this actually air? Did a solitary person watch it?

June 5th is the alleged start date. Not sure how keen I am on a PG-13 "Masters of Horror" though.

How many episodes till NBC pulls the plug? Anyone care to guess?

0.6259.

It'll be the first instance of a show being cancelled while an episode is in progress.

I gotta say, maybe I picked the wrong ones but I haven't liked any of the episodes of the unrated Masters of Horror which certainly doesn't lead me to want to try this.

it totally reeks of the clerks cartoon treatment...if they hadn't hired some big names i'd say it gets two episodes and is cancelled. they're putting it up against lost I think...or maybe lost will be over by then? either way, my guess is it will get put out to pasture and move to friday or saturday night.

Because of the WGA Strike, alot of shows are ending later than usual (i.e. very end of May instead of the early-middle of the month).

It's going up against Lost? Yeah...it's fucked. But NBC should be used to that by now...

Lost ends on May 29th, so this show will have no excuses if it tanks.

I believe there is a deal set up where the episodes air on NBC first and then are available to view OnDemand.

So, even if the show tanks in the ratings, you can still catch episodes of the series.

ok yeah, i forgot lost was a shortened season. either way, the show will tank because let's face it...masters of horror isn't even that good and its on showtime.

For a network broadcast, the first episode wasn't actually that bad, and ended up better than quite a few of the MOH episodes (although that's not necessarily a ringing endorsement). The censors let a bit of gore sneak in, and though having goth hottie Rachel Miner not play a character similar to the S&M secretary role she had in "Californication" was dissapointing, it's worth Tivoing another episode.
