Good to hear, Alex!

and a sequel to the original Dawn of the Dead.

Wait, wait, wait, what the hell? It's supposedly a direct sequel, as well. We going to see Ken Foree and Gaylen Ross chilling on an island somewhere?
Bad to hear, Alex!

The 3D version of Dawn would be worth seeing for that head shot that accompanied the article ALONE. If they do this right, this would be nothing short of amazing. I'd LOVE to see this in an IMAX 3D theatre. Just when you thoguht one of your favorite films couldn't get any better. . . .

Well I'm not going to argue with an opportunity to see Dawn of the Dead on the big screen, but Timpone is the king of overstatement. For as long as he's been doing this kind of thing, TT is still one of the biggest fanboys.

It's weird to me to see Rubinstein is still in the game. Well best of luck to him.

My friend just summed it up perfectly with "Tony Timpone is horror's hype-man."

Guy's great though, friendly as hell and has remembered my name since the first time I met him. Shows up to practically every horror screening in NYC.

Don't get me wrong, I'd jump at the opportunity to hang out with him, it's his critical sensibilities that made me jump ship to the greener (and Canandianer) pastures of Rue Morgue.

Is Creature Corner going away?

Moving to greener pastures. That horror button on Chud will eventually lead to Chud.com/horror, which will be the new home for CC. Not everything's worked out yet though, hence the CC: articles for now. We're still around!

I actually can't access Creature Corner at work because of 'violence' filters, so the move makes me happy.

I'm not sure how I feel about Dawn in 3D. It's honestly my favorite film, like, respectfully. Seeing it in 3D will be kind of like seeing The Godfather or Citizen Kane in 3D for other folks. It sounds cool, but it also kind of cheapens things a bit.

Something ironic about a site named CHUD, with a "supplement" for horror.

Tony Timpone a hype man that's outrageous! Get your Fangoria comics here!

Dawn in 3D, I would actually like to be able to check that out.

But the sequel? What the fuck? I can't help but think of Day of the Dead 2: Contagium, no matter how hard I try not to remember that movie.

With the sequel, it can't be any worse than the crap Romero has been doing lately. Since "Diary", I don't trust Georgy with zombies ever again. And since its a direct sequel that means the return of Ken Foree! And you know he'd be up for it- he'd probably do it for free!

Haven't seen "Diary" yet but a Dawn sequel with the wrong people involved would not be a good look. I'm not saying anything without Romero is gonna be garbage but given some of the more recent zombie projects (Day remake, Day sequel, Night 3-D, Return sequels), I don't know if I have time for another terrible one.
