The presence of Murray and Robbins makes that trailer seriously weird.

Is this, praises be, an original story? Or is it another kid's book adaptation?

Updated with a note from me.

AND Toby Jones!

I'll definitely check this out, even if I don't know what I just watched (trailer).

That trailer was just.... well, cool.

I'm not quite sure how anyone could not like AMELIE, but...

Looks good and this coming from someone normally allergic to Tim Robbins.

Is Murray playing a bad guy in this one? Or is he the inspirational leader? Either way, it's a very different role for him. Glad to have him back--his last movie was what, Broken Flowers?

A Walden Media kid's fantasy flick that actually looks kinda interesting? That's a first.

That kid and her sea creature movie was kinda cute.

That surely had a "City of Lost Children" vibe. And I adore that movie for it´s visuals alone. Looks like a fun adventure movie at least.
And I had to laugh about your note Devin. Way to go Fox!

The book had a neat central idea, but it was full of smart characters (especially the ones who built the city) doing contrivedly stupid things for the sake of the plot. All it would really need is some minor tweaking. The movie certainly looks right, and I did like Monster House a lot. Seems promising.

Murray is playing the villain, I believe the trades said. By the way, usually when someone ages as poorly as Murray, they kind of have to retire. It's a testament to his excellence that he can still basically do anything he wants.

Murray's aged poorly? The guy wasn't exactly Cary Grant when he started. He went from young, balding and schlubby to old, still balding, and still schlubby.
