My central air is making this heat wave a joke!

And increasing your carbon footprint by a significant margin.

As the only guy in LA without a car, who cares.

You and your air conditioning can go to hell.

My air conditioner is great . . . as long as I stay within five feet of it at all times.

I know what ya mean. Otherwise I get to enjoy my place ala a southern gothic novel or Sin City.

"The night was hot as hell..."

Nice, cool day over here in the Garden State.

Must suck to be in LA for once....

Even up by San Francisco it's been pretty fucking hot. Near the coast it's cooler, but inland (where I am) it's hit the triple digits. We're making due with fans, but it may be time to invest in a free-standing air conditioner.

OK, I'm in the Northwest, 5 hours from Canada, where it rains 10 months a year and people wear scarves in June....
and it was 96 degrees yesterday. In May...not something that should ever happen.

Be thankful for your central air,
love it and be grateful.

It was over 85 in my bedroom at midnight.

Prepare yourself for...

HUGE ELECTRIC BILL!!!
You guys and your global warming. I'm going to let my AC, TVs, stereos, and computers run 24/7 to make up for you guys trying to save the planet.
THat's right, blow out your electrical. We'll see who's laughing now!

Bait thread if I've ever seen one. Jerkoff!

So I shouldn't use my A/C and I shouldn't drive my car? Next they'll tell me I shouldn't use my A/C in my car.
Selling cars in this state without A/C should be a felony.
It's actually been proven that you get better gas mileage driving your car with the A/C on (I'm assuming on LOW), than driving without A/C and with the windows down.
What if I drive with the A/C on the highest setting while throwing aluminum cans out my open window? How does that impact my mileage?

Not sure, but I'm sure the guys from Mythbusters will get right on it.
