Hello everyone, I've been a lurker here for awhile and now I'm giving this blog thing a try. Check it out and let me know what you think.

See this very thing happened with films many years ago, its turned everyone into a prognosticator. I wouldn't say its exactly a bad thing except when it gets used in one of the neverending "my system is better than your system" arguments.

I would agree but unfortunately it's almost always trotted out as a "my system is better than your system" kind of thing and it's really just tiring. I do like knowing that good games are getting the recognition they deserve though, it's just disheartening when fanboys use sales numbers to try and prove points.

I get the feeling more and more gamers lately just use sales numbers to make their purchases, but then that could just be the vocal minority on the internet. Casual gamers probably don't ever pay attention to sales numbers outside of big releases like Grand Theft Auto.

The weird thing is, my 360 has been getting the red ring of death for the last 3 months, yet it bounces back every other day to live again.

But yeah, they really need to figure out how to get their system's shit together.

Good article. Can't wait to play the Bourne game myself.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

Unfortunately the shine of The Bourne Conspiracy has kind of worn off after getting further into it. It's really a one trick pony with it's hand-to-hand fighting system. The shooting and driving aspects are pretty sloppy. I'm going to wait until I finish it before I get too judgmental on it, and I am having fun with it, it just feels like a lot of lost potential.

On the plus side, Microsoft was really quick at getting me a box and label to ship my system out.

This one goes out to my dad. Bravest man in the world for putting up with my antics as I was growing up.
