Wow, I wasn't expecting a sequel from this game. I'm gonna keep an eye on this one.

I gave up on checking the backwards compatibility list for this game ... along with Psi-Ops (apparently in copyright lawsuit hell) ... and Jaws Unleashed (don't judge me!).

This franchise will apparently have to move on without Overlord's support.

I've still got my old Xbox hooked up so that isn't a problem. The only thing is that I've yet to finish the original game. My motor functions is too wired to the inverted Y-axis scheme and the game never gives you that option changing it, making it hard for me to play.

What kind of preposterous nonsense is this? Unless triggers are integral to gameplay, I'd rather turn the controller upside down and play left handed.

The same nonsense that makes me non-ambidextrous. Look, I'm not really a gamer and I literally had to train myself to use the controller to play FPS/3rdPS properly. Now when all of my games uses the same scheme except for this one which totally confuses my trained motor skills with the controler, somehow I doubt I want to invest the time to re-train myself just for it. I know it's a good game but come on. This probably is just me anyway.

Granted I haven't totally ditched the game either as I still own the copy of it. Maybe one day I'll take the time for it.

I'd love to play it on Wii. Hopefully they'll make it a multi-platform release...not that I particularly believe it's actually happening.

I need to get crackin' and beat the first game, but from the 50% of the first game I played, a sequel happening at all is a beautiful miracle.

The original was very good. This is excellent news. Those who haven't played it, should.

I've never played the first and don't own an original Xbox. Which version should I try to play then, the PS2 or PC?

What a weird trailer. Any news on this will be good news though. I recently restarted playing the first one after finishing it a couple of years ago. Tremendous fun, and in its genre maybe the best of its generation.

But this is indeed surprising to say the least.. wasn't the original a huge commercial flop?

I believe it was, that's why I'm surprised a sequel is coming. It's been awhile since I beat the game but I do remember enjoying it very much.

Gamecube. It plays too much like Zelda to NOT use the GC controller.

Gametap also has it for the PC. They've got a month trial for a buck.... that'd give you plenty of time to beat it.

As a proud owner of the PS2 version, Im all giddy about finally getting a sequel....glad to see the semi-failure of the first title didnt kill the sequel.
Wonder if well see a console release for the Dreamfall sequel as well.

The PS2 version allows you to change the axes for both normal looking and for camera mode. Are you sure you can't change it on the Xbox?
