Diary of the Dead played in theaters. It didn't make much (around a million domestic), but it wasn't straight to DVD.

I was going to say, I thought for a moment that I was a bit insane in thinking I saw it in theaters.

But luckily, I am not. Enjoyed the film for the direction he wants to go in with the storyline.
