For those of you who like Barry Eisler's books, he recently reported on his visit to the set of Rain Fall and he posted up some pics.

Before anyone says, yes I sent this in yesterday to the site.

Thought I would share. Glad to see they didn't go with Jet Li for the role of John Rain as they first talked about.

Looks good! I am kinda pleased and surprised that they used a Japanese actor for John Rain. I was sorta expecting them to cast a traditional Hollywood actor for the role.

Did Eisler say when the next John Rain book is coming out? I've just finished Requiem for an Assassin and they pretty much closed off a lot of the main plot-lines in that one.

Is it me? Or does Oldman seem to be channeling Bill Nighly?

Next book has nothing do with Rain. Seems to be a stand alone book right now.

Rain's story is done. There'll be more books in that universe, but Rain will be a supporting player.

That's a pity. What's next? A Deliah/Dox spin-off novel?
