This is a brand new draft to be orchestrated through the main page and administered through the message boards with daily updates on the front page.

It's an effort to tie the two closer together, inspire new members to come on board and the subject matter is by far my favorite idea for drafting. It actually is the most creative draft in my eyes.

Well, Kirby was going with a 80's movie draft. Unless you go that route, I'll do both, but hopefully, they're not at the same time.

And when you said huge, I thought a babe draft where you had to draft mammoth-sized women. Color me disappointed: I wanted an excuse to draft Mo'Nique.

Kirby's draft is currently penciled in for, at last check, 2018. Unless he has something come up between now and then, at which point it'll be early 2020's.

If you're trying to get new members to join the forums via a draft, it might be worthwhile to post a Draft FAQ thread, or maybe an explanation on how the drafts work on the main page.

I know it must be a huge pain in the ass logistically, but isn't just 25 slot a little small if the plan is to integrate the site, new chewers and MB posters?

This looks like an awesome draft.
But I will have to stay behind and lurk, since it seems impossible to work that into my already overloaded schedule for the summer. But there is still Kirbys draft to dry the tears with.

Yeah, not going to hold my breath on getting one of these limited spots when way more clever and smart people will be fighting for em, but on the other hand I am almost as excited for the chance to make movie posters for peoples stables afterwords. Nice that theres more depth to the participation of people not directly involved with the draft this time out.. should be fun times.
