New Weeds season

Soon. mid-June.
I kind of hope Nancy learned something from, oh, any part of last season and isn't so cavalier about running her business.

I do hope for another brick dance, though.
Last year was an off season. I hope they bounce back.
Thought the new season started off pretty well. Loved everything in the police station, and ALBERT BROOKS!

"I saw my grandmother's vagina." Digging the hell outta the show still. I can't remember, did they can the whole "Shane sees dead dad" bs last season?
I think he kind of gave that up once he started focusing on securing the house with the cameras and stuff. Moving from selling in Whitebread Suburbia to wholesale trafficking is probably a bad decision but it should be pretty interesting. How long before Mexican Drug Guy starts bringing in heroin behind Nancy's back?
Last year was so so. But Albert Brooks was fantastic.

I'll miss Malco though.

I just finished re-watching season 3. The seeing dad bs was still going on in the last episode. Chunky lesbian kid confronted Shane when Shane asked her if she was really a lesbian and he ran off. So still on the table to be resolved (or ignored).
I hope ignored. Shane is too awesome to be pulling that shit.

I also loved that "Rad" kid Nancy had to deal with while waiting. For some reason her spouting off all the things she learned about him made me laugh pretty hard.
"You come in here eating German Food and smelling of gasoline. She was at Auschwitz!"

Albert Brooks needs to become a permanent part of the show.
That line killed me. I wish he was going to be around longer than four episodes.
This looks to be a bold new turn. I like the first episode and look forward to the rest of the season.

I will miss U-Turn, Conrad and Helia though.

U-Turn's been dead for a bit. Conrad and Helia still need to be resolved. Did Helia get out of the game and open a club like she said she would? Where is Conrad growing now?

Or, I could be wrong and they vanish like the deaf girl.
I know U-Turn died 3/4 into last season, but his influence still lingered on. Doug said that Helia and Conrad were "long gone by now" and that was it.
I figured that was a dry run to test Nancy but it was still funny to watch her freak out. Is it really that much of a nightmare to get back into the US from Mexico?

And how in the world would the DEA get that shot of Guillermo and Nancy?
Nancy is has the worst luck in the history of drug dealers.

I figure the DEA or CIA has Guillermo on their radar and thats how they got the picture.

Celia with the LA Gangbanger makeup was classic.

I'm hopng it was a camera from a remote robot bird flying around just to play off Nancy's bird hysteria.

That's too bad about Helia and Conrad. I feel like they still had some business left. Maybe not this season, but eventually.
Love the bit with Doug and Isabella during the visit. And what the fuck is up with the growroom in the van?
Am I the only one or did Celia look hot?

Jenji Kohan said they're done and aren't coming back in some interview over at Zap2it.com. He also said there would be no more little boxes after the first episode which made me a little bummed... and so far, it kind of has me empty inside when watching the openning.

Overall. This show has lost its funny. Hopefully they'll get their groove back when Doug rejoins the group.
OK, so it got the funny back tonight. I had a good laugh and hopefully bringing Doug back into the mix will keep it going. I'm going to miss Albert Brooks. He needs to do more stuff, nothing but gold.
So what the F is going on under the maternity store?
Underground Casino ?

dunno, but of course she's gonna end up fucking the main bad guy.
I'm glad to see that the show can still whip out the funny despite the new direction that it's taking. I'm sort of losing the satire, though, and for me, the show was at it's height when it was still set in Agrestic.

Still, it's to the show's credit that it remains more than watchable despite the tonal shift.
Definitely a lot better this last episode. Hopefully it's building steam.

Also, the tunnel I believe is for smuggling drugs and pulled from the headlines!!

I fucking loved the shot of the "family" around the dining room table. I was in stitches over how pathetic everyone looked. And I give it 2 episodes before Nancy fucks Mr. Mysterious Business Suit Man.

Yeah, they finally found their legs in the last two eps.

"Awesome."

"Legendaarry."
Julie Bowen is always nice. I'm very interested in the direction Doug and Andy are going.

And i would fuck Sylas. The kid has grown!
So Mr. Mysterious Business Suit Man is the Mayor? She's totally gonna fuck him next episode. And Sylas is living the American Dream. Lucky bastard,.

Yeah he has grown. I forgot how old he is supposed to be on the show, but I think the actor is actually 21. A little too young for my tastes, but easy on the eyes for sure.

Echoing Kirby, glad to see the show find it's legs again. I was beginning to get concerned. I think I may go back to watching this 2-3 episodes at a time (on Demand), as I tend to like the show better in blocs.

I read over at aintitcool, that they have 2 more confirmed seasons after this one.
Also, I'm totally done with Nancy. She just keeps getting more and more stupid as the show goes on. I hope they focus more on Andy and Doug's adventures in Mexico.

Senor flippy-flop!

I feel the same way . . . When the show started, she was charmingly naive and in over her head. Over time, it seems that her naivete has evolved into a severe brain injury.
Exactly. And I can't believe they announced 2 more seasons. What else is she going to get into? Organ smuggling? Pandas? Unless this season amps it up this may be my last. I'm not a fan of the Mexico smuggling subplot (as far as Nancy is concerned)so far. But more Doug and Andy as Coyotes could be fantastic.
Someone, somewhere, is writing out there sexual fetishes/fantasies using Mary Botwin/Mary Louise Parker. We'll see if she's ballgagged and handcuffed for her spanking.

The [misadventures] of Senor Flippy-Flop, Andy, and Silas are indeed becoming more interesting than the main plot-line.
Sylas grabbing that tit... fuck him.
Silas is the man, Nancy is an idiot, Doug is comedy gold, Shane is a bit distubing.
This season is all over the fucking place. So Nancy fucks things up with Scarface, Silas apparently shaves his ass, Doug joins the Minutemen (awesome), and Shane masturbates to photos of his mom....Wtf?
Lee Majors was the head of the minutemen, how awesome was that!

I think the show should end now and we should have a Doug & Andy as smugglers spinoff.
I've got to echo the sentiment that Doug and Andy's storyline is more interesting than Nancy's. Though I do like the tragedy of Nancy in that she just can't help but get herself in deeper with every endeavor she undertakes.
If this show wasn't a comedy Nancy would already be dead. Her storyline is ridiculous in a bad way, while the adventures of Senor Flippy-Flop and the Toe-fucker are ridiculous in an awesome way.
How much of a ball smack would it be if the show ended with Nancy and her family slaughtered? Kind of what she's been begging for, isn't it?
So does season 4 suck as much cock as season 3 does? Because Jesus Christ...season 3 is bad. At least the first disc (half the season) is. I've never been the biggest fan of the show, but it's something to watch. Kinda like all the Showtime shows, minus Dead Like Me and Huff and about 3/4 of Dexter. But season 3 is really bad. It get better?

I'm half-expecting a Botwin to die any episode, now. It won't happen because it's not that kind of show, but I keep on anticipating something like that happening.
What are you talking about, Bubbie Botwin died!!!
You know what I meant.

Season 3 is bad from start to finish. I really didn't want to watch season 4 after the last one.
This was a good episode. Very good actually. I still want to kill Sylas though.
Scratch that. Fuck the mexican mayor.

That was full blown Parker nudity. Awesome. JUST AWESOME.
