My friend's been looking for this book for years and neither of us have had any luck.
She described the plot as this: This princess has a power in which she can make whatever she thinks of come to life, and she is set to marry a prince who has the power of illusion I think. They don't want to get married, but are talking and fall into portal at a fountain and find themselves in another world in a hellatious adventure.
She read it in 7th or 8th grade. She said the cover was an image with a diagnal line splitting a reflection, but one side of the reflection is a girl, and the other a guy.
Anyone have any ideas?
