Airport guards have stopped a man boarding a plane for wearing a Transformers T-shirt showing a cartoon gun.

Brad Jayakody, 30, was told he had to change his T-shirt if he wanted to catch his flight from Heathrow's Terminal 5.

His top showed the Transformers film character Optimus Prime holding a gun.

Edit: Dammit! THREAT! THREAT!

This shit is getting fucking ridiculous.

He said: "It's a cartoon robot with a gun as an arm. What was I going to do, use the shirt to pretend I have a gun?
really sums it all up. It's a drawing of a cartoon robot, not the fucking Prophet Muhammad crashing a Nazi Germany zeppelin into a tower. Can society please grow a fucking pair?

ETA: This is going to be fun once the G.I. JOE marketing gears up.

Well, you can“t be too cautionary. I heard after shoe-bombers, T-shirt bombers are the new way to undermine our societies. And this guy surely looks like an evil muslim. Since he is not white that is.

Well, his last name is Sri Lankan, and his skin is brown, so he must be a terrorist.

Yes, but it doesn't work.
It doesn't change the Title in the main forums, only inside the Thread.

Just when you think that the "professionals" charged with our "protection" can't get any dumber they go ahead and pull something like this off. You have to admire their effort at least.

I bet they shoot you on sight for this one:

I thought "thread" was a clever shirt reference. Like "Nice threads". I guess that means I also assume Argentina is stuck in an episode of Dobie Gillis.

I was gonna go with the old "Is Brad Jayakody a Chewer?" But judging by the fact that he wore that shirt to the airport you can bet the farm he is.

Minsky and You are giving me way too much credit.

Isn't his Untouched By Female Hands Penis enough punishment?
