Flux Capacitor Replica - Page 2

Okay, that was a really good article. Now I feel like I should have taken the $275 I spent on the Capacitor and gave it to his charity instead.

So do nine of you want to go in with me and buy some Time Circuits to go with our flux capacitors? I mean, do we want to see the birth of Christ or what?

edited to add: Holy shit that site is a riot. Only $190 for a replica of Marty's alarm clock!

There is another new official prop "replica" coming out later this year. The OUTATIME license plate from the delorean. Of course the shots of the "replica" don't at all match the screen used plates, and its $35 bucks.

Yeah although that may not be the final product, looks more like a graphic. I was going to list all the inaccuracies from that OUTATIME license plate and mail it to DST. Then dropped the idea, since they obviously won't pay attention, just like they did with the Flux Capacitor. I already have a OUTATIME license plate which I got with the Japanese DVD set. It's not 100% screen accurate, but close to it. If DST makes an accurate one, I will surely buy it again.

I had read a story about these shoes a week or so back, it was probably posted somewhere here at CHUD but it seems applicable to this thread.

Apparently Nike produced only 350 pairs of these, and it sounds like only 200 pairs were available to the public. The article I read said that Kobe Bryant showed up to the introduction of the shoes in a Delorean. The fact that Nike thought that making this such a limited release and guaranteeing that Ebay hawks get rich off of it boggles the mind though.

why would anyone spend that kind of dough on something that doesn't even have power laces?

You mean you have to use your hands? That's like a baby's toy!
