Looks like a "real world" version of Pokemon Snap, or a safari version of Endless Ocean (Forever Blue in Japan). Based on the vids, I really want to play this.

New Details on Afrika Finally Emerge
Afrika comes to Japan on August 28; North America soon after?
The latest issue of Famitsu magazine brings new details on the mysterious PlayStation 3 safari game Afrika. We now know that players can observe their surroundings through at least three camera angles -- third-person view, bird's eye view, and from the animal's point of view. There are also special fixed camera points where you can observe the natural habitats.
Players will be able to traverse the open fields either by foot or through vehicles such as jeeps. They can then take photographs or observe animals from long distances using binoculars. It is not yet known how players and animals will interact (if at all). Animals which have been observed will be kept in a database.
Famitsu also reveals that Afrika will hit Japanese store shelves on August 28. With that settled, hopefully a North American release date announcement will come soon.
