Being a huge fan of soda (but alas, not of Mountain Dew), I don't think the starting of this thread merits such a response. But perhaps it would have been better served w/ a resurrection of an older soda thread or more generalized soda related topic?

The dew mocracy was discussed the other week in the fast food hoedown thread cuz i didn't feel like making a new thread for something so stupid and we were already discussing odd variations in the aforementioned thread. I've now tried all three dew mocracy flavors and i'd say the purple-ish one is the best, followed by the dark blue, and lastly the clear blue.

I'm not going to vote though.

They'll "declare a winner" but I'm sure all three flavors will be out of stores by the end of the summer. Only Code Red can survive side by side with regular Mountain Dew. Livewire will come once every year or so, but besides the two mainstays the rest will always be seasonal. (Diet Mountain Dew doesn't count as a flavor)

What about "Baja Blast" which they serve at Taco Bell year round.

And geeze, I wouldn't have started this thread if I'd know about all the grief I'd get...damn...

Baja Blast doesn't count, since like you said it can only be purchased at Taco Bell and has never been marketed in can or bottle at stores.

It's also, imho, foul. I'm almost happy I can't drink anything but diet soda now when I think of that stuff. This, from a lifelong dew drinker by the way.

Mmmmm...Game Fuel. Dew with an invigorating blast of citrus cherry flavor.

I live in Coca-Cola country, so we don't get fringe Dew (like Livewire) around these parts.

Incidentally, Fringe Dew can also be quite satisfying.

Take it back, Matchstick! Game Fuel is the only Dew variation that doesn't take like brake fluid cut with Mr. Clean. It is delicious.

Hey, I didn't pass judgment on it! I just asked if that pisswater was still being produced. It being the cola equivalent of syphilis, I could see how it might still be around.

I've liked all the Dew flavors, with my order probably being Baja Blast, Code Red, Regular Mountain Dew, Game Fuel, Pitch Black (remember that?) and then Livewire. Out of the three new ones I've only tried the light blue one, which I liked a lot.

The Dewmocracy commercial with the three way tug-of-war is ten shades of awesome, however.

And, as an aside, the Stride commercial where the guy randomly gets headbutted by a ram is great too.

I'm not supposed to have much caffeine, but the purple ones are delicious(Voltage?). I had to down like 3 of them the other day("so good"). I was parched, and it was hot as balls outside.

I'd have mentioned this is the "Fast Food Hoedown" thread, but I tend to avoid fast food like the plague, and don't read that shit*.

*You folks that do, enjoy! It is delicious. I envy you.

Voltage is the more blue one. Like the color of the font in your sig. The pink/purple one is Supernova.
