Lego Indy!

Anyone else picked this up? The missues loved lego Star Wars and so we invested in this one as another game we can play together.

So far I'm loving it - its very simmilar to LSW but that's not a bad thing.

Highlights so far are lego Toht burning his butt rather than his hand and a lego re inactment of the Pat Roach Vs Indy fight from Raiders.

A nice change from GTA and strangly better than Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls.

I keep seeing it and wanting to pick it up. But I have 2 other games higher on the list this month and can only afford one of them

Got it yesterday for £32 and its awesome.

Same as you, my girlfriend saw it in the shop and bought it on impulse because she loved playing through Lego Star Wars with me.

really fun game so far

I will definitely be getting this at some point. I have 3 other games to play before I buy a new one, but just like Rusty and Ken, my girl loves these games, especially doing co-op.

Heh, my missus hates Star Wars. But loves Indy. And co-op games too. Although she's worryingly competant on Call of Duty... (much to my dismay on split-screen games)

One thing I've noticed about these games is they seem to have been designed with geeks and their women in mind.

A very good stratergy on their part.

They could make billions.

It's great. Had a great time with it. Review this week.

Quite a crime when the puzzles in a fucking Lego game are better than the ones in the new movie.

Fixed.

As to Lego Indy, I'd love to play it, but I'll have to wait until the local Blockbusters has it's one copy in stock. I can't justify full price on this, no matter how much I want to. Meantime, rental Ninja Gaiden II will suffice (but just).

I don't have any of these games. Was thinking of getting the Star Wars one first, but this one looks like fun.

But hey, they have the Indy saga, but does it include Crystal Skull?

Star Wars Lego 2 sold over a million copies in its first week on sale. I may have been slightly sarcastic when saying billions, but to be fair - it's entirely possible.

Its called the original adventures and looks pretty Crystal Skull free.

It doesn't include Crystal Skull. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm thinking that's a good thing.

Should be getting from Amazon (all hail Amazon Prime!) tomorrow . . . Like the other guys, my wife loved the co-op play on Lego Star Wars, and she will definitely be playing the game with me if I can pry Mario Kart from her clutches.

It's labeled 'The Original Adventures' or whatever, so no Crystal Skull. It does have a Young Indy unlockable level. Also hidden Star Wars characters - so far I've found Luke, C3PO and Chewie who all get a little cutscene when you find them.

Rented this last week, beat the game last night but still need a few dozen artifact pieces and whatnot. Was pretty fun, I liked it a lot more than the Star Wars titles, I'd say this one is a lot more puzzle oriented. Naturally the music and everything is great (I sort of gained a new appreciation for TLC's score while playing that storyline, though I haven't watched the movie in years). Temple of Doom really stands out as the most visually interesting of the movie levels, which is true of the films too IMO.

The game did lock up on me a few times during cutscenes (really annoying when it's the cutscene to end the level and you lose all the progress), and I've been hearing lots of complaints about free play mode locking up on people, but it hasn't been a huge problem with my copy so far.

Lookin forward to the review Russ!
