Treble or bass?

Myself, I listen to more songs with a pronounced treble sound - which has made some acquaintances wonder about my stance with women. Should they, when I'm listening to Josef K or The Membranes alongside Public Image Ltd? Then again, I must remember that in Winnipeg there is a weird application of orientation to style of music you enjoy - the hardcore kids bloodying themselves up are at one end of the spectrum (despite their abstinence pledges to God) and at the other are local girl-pop bands like Paper Moon. I don't listen to the latter, though I've hit on their female members. But come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't have faked being familiar with their music and just used a pick-up line. Also, I've gradually passed the three-month grace period of perceived straightness - which begins at the last time you were laid.

No, this thread isn't just about my own insecurities and judgments - but I can't be the only one who's noticed how insecure musicians are becoming, what with bands trying not to appear emo and yet not play hardcore thrash. Hasn't someone ever listened to one of your tunes and gone, "Jesus, that sounds so gay, man" ? Are there asexual songs?

If they have frigid groupies, yes.
