Also, the spoilers are rather non-specific (but still pretty significant, IMO)...and I think I may have noticed them on this thread a few pages back. Not sure.

Either way Im thinking about OD'ing on xanax and having someone revive me a few minutes before 9pm tonight...just so I have time to dim the lights and open a beer.
There are more specific spoilers than those floating around. Apparently Vanity Fair posted a detailed review early but enough people read it before it was taken down.

EDIT: Variety, not Vanity Fair.

IMO thats how it will probably end.

If the bad guy wins I like that. A big Fuck You to the system. That is how the Sorpranos should have ended. Let Tony get over on everyone. Have his prison be that of being a Periea (sp)

In honor of this thread I hope he shot him/her under the eye and blamed it on a drug dealer. And I hope the fight started because the co-worker was investigating him and Ashxking2001 described how sweet his co-worker's wife pussy tasted.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

WG: I think I had four different roles on that show, and I was killed almost every time. Once I escaped death, but I was blinded by bad moonshine.

That part cracked me up. Thanks for the link.

I watched last week's episode again to prepare for tonight. Shane's scenes with his wife ("I'll do anything you want me to") and about his wife ("she's not going to jail!") are so raw. I remember reading about what happened to Goggins' wife a few years ago, and it's times like these I can't help but wonder how close to that line he gets as an actor. Damn.

Anyway, not long now.

Hopefully we'll see some of you in chat tonight.
Pardon my ignorance, but Chat? Time to hit the search for the CHUD chat because I knew not this existed.
Never mind. I am an idiot. Found the link and created account...

On a shield note.

62k a year for ICE?
I'd like to watch in chat, but I know having the laptop out while we're watching will annoy my wife. Hopefully I'll check in after, as I assume the discussion will be going on for awhile.
Shane and Mara are dead. I am convinced after that opening scene.

"What's wrong, honey?" - Shane

Edit: Taking Vic's kids away = Really bad idea.
Well the drug deal was one colossal fuck up.

Didn't work out the way I expected.

Dutch is presuming guilt before innocence. Seems like he's kind of going the Mackey route on this one...too bad he isn't Vic.

BTW, who guessed that Dutch would be a suspect in the killing of the kids mom? I know someone got that one right.

Yea, it's Andre Mother Fuckin 3000, makin' a return!
It'd be great if this turns Dutch into a mini-Vic leading into the unknown after this episode.
Oooo no Dutch! Don't let that little prick get you. Take him down like a man...like a man!

And that phone conversation between Vic and Shane. Hoooooooly shit. This is so heavy and so intense I just ran upstairs to hug my family to try and hold back the impending sense of doom. Gah!
"I"m gonna muss their hair, I'm gonna tell em stories about Ma and Pa. I'll send you a postcard from Space Mountain"

Holy shit. Not the exact quote but still. Holy shit. That whole scene was fantastic. I still have honestly very few guesses as to where this is going.

EDIT: What's with the crack? That speed/cocaine mix must've fucked him up more than I thought.
The drug deal didn't got the way I was thinking either. The fact that Beltran is still on the loose is enough of a wildcard to be played out.

That phone call between Vic and Shane. Fuck. Vic's saying about seeing the kids once a year and taking them out for ice cream made me laugh.
Walton Goggins performance is terrific. He's playing a guy who's been high on coke the whole episode but it's not totally thrown in your face. Great stuff.

I repeat..."What's wrong, honey?" - Shane

And yea, that phone conversation was classic. Can't say I wasn't happy to see Vic give it to Shane like that.
"The bitch dyke?"

Laughed so hard.

EDIT: What is it with Shane and teenagers?

It's not quite torture by chain, but the rattlesnake was pretty badass.

Shane's always thought with his dick first, being really really high doesn't help.

Or he's just got the yellow fever, bad.
The face into the rattle snake aquarium was friggin' awesome. That's definitely going down as one of the series best along with the phone book beating and face burning on the stove.
Lack of a body count so far...
This scene with Aceveda vs. Andre 3000 reminds me of a scene in Season 3 of The Wire. Not a bad thing.

I wanna punch this kid in the face. You don't frame Dutchboy and get away with it!
What is Andre Benjamin doing in the series finale?
I'd actually forgotten about Aceveda in all of this, I'm now really curious as to where this is going.

He was a character who made one or two appearances in Season...three? Hosing prostitutes away from the front of his comic book shop.

Only more reason to think that the show is going to hit us HARD in the last 30 minutes.

I'd forgotten about that too! Is it really the same character?

Yeah, it's going to become a blood bath pretty quickly here.

I think the bullhorn pretty much confirmed that it is the same character. I seem to remember from the commentaries that he was a favorite character of the writers and fans, so it's nice for the fans to see him make a return.
"Family meeting.."

He wouldn't do his own family in would he....

EDIT: Oh my GOD!
Well, that's that for Shane....

YOU KILLED LEM YOU SONOFABITCH!

Holy shit...
Holy Shit Shane Did A Benoit!!!!!!!!
Walter Goggins acting demands an Emmy
Oh dear God no....

And there's still 30 mins left!

Would never happen but super crazy thought. Just imagine if Dutch DID kill the mom to frame the son. Ha.
As soon as I saw him standing there listening to Mara and Jackson I knew he was going to do it.

Wow.....
I'm in shock. I never expected it to go down like that.
They've got Beltran now.

Edited: Oh shit, Ronnie's getting a "lift" from a uni. He's going down.
Oh hell, Ronnie. i don't know whether to be more nervous for Dutch or him.
Ronnie's going to jail at best, getting killed at worst.

Kid definitely did it.
So..who's putting money against an Antwon Mitchell cameo at the end?

CCH Pounder at least deserves an Emmy nomination for her scene that she just had. Really sincere and heroic.
Oh god not the god damn Star Trek trailer...Stop ruining The Shield for me!

What, 30 minutes to go? And I still have no idea what's going to happen to Vic. Amazing.

Aww, poor Comic Book Guy Andre 3000. That made me sad. Now this scene with Ronnie is making me more sad...
I thought of you when I saw that Shadows.

Dutch isn't going to be the final body. I think Claudette just sealed that and did a rather fantastic job of it.

There isn't going to be another commercial is there? This is it.
