This is the thread for my blog Slow-Motion Quick-Draw. My name's Jon Abrams, pleased to meet ya. If somebody could let me whether or not this first attempt at starting a thread works, I'd be thankful. I really enjoyed your blog on that one scene of Ghostbusters nobody talks about. I agree, that scene beautifully sets up a new kind of creepiness.

Loved the werewolf piece. They're also my favorite monster, and I've been waiting for a werewolf movie to come along rivaling "American" for awhile. I've been seeking out a lot of them, occationally finding something interesting but no GREAT pure werewolf movies.

One that I thought was quite good, although it could be considered more of a Yokai movie than Werewolf...and the "good" part depends on your tastes, was a Japanese flick called Kibakichi.

One I'm looking forward to seeing, which might meet the "so bad its good" criteria is Werewolf in a Women's Prison, which looks absolutly hilarious.

As far as books go, I just finished The Dresden Files Book 2: Fool Moon, by Jim Butcher, which had an interesting and pretty solid take on the werewolf mythology.

If you want, I'll update you as I see/read more. Great blog.
