At least Heigl is leaving with a film career actually in place, unlike Caruso, who really should have waited until he had maybe one well-received hit. It's too bad that a woman who claims to be such an independent thinker has chosen such crass nonsense to jumpstart her film career with, but it's not like starring roles for women are all that varied anyway. I just hope she realizes that the sub-Meg Ryan shit will burnout...quickly.
