Random as shit. Not a cash-in by any means (especially with the eschewed title), so hopefully there's some love happening.

But yeah, Alex, this one was a gem. Netflix it! Savini's first film!

This is one of those "remakes" that makes me wonder why they bother acquiring the rights at all. It's just a version of The Monkey's Paw.

Agreed, but it did get us talking about it. Seems I left a line out of the article.... but the writer behind this is the guy who did the two American Grudge films, as well as Red. Make of that what you will...

With the current war, this is more than ripe for a remake. Please don't let it go the way of the Prom Night PG-13 remakes......

Awesome film...I can remember watching it as a pre-teen on Chiller Theater after midnight back in the Seventies. I don't think it was cut either. Spooky...

Yeah, but like the article says it's kind of already been done on Masters Of Horror.

I'm actually not that big a fan of that episode, actually. Liked the intentions but there's only so many times someone can beat you over the head with blatant commentary before it starts to affect the work. It's good, though.

Yeah, Homecoming wasn't great, but it was one of the better episodes from season 1.
